I know a few of you wanted to see my old Dark Angels and Black Templars tributes re-done, but I've had this Bretonnian one in the making for a while and decided to put it up before I do anything else. On a side note, I also apologise for Youtube again messing up the music... However, I must credit the Youtube user tonyponyf for the idea, so I of course credit everyone and his own Bretonnian tribute was awesome. I did this to show more people about The Bretonnians and of course the music. The main song in the tribute really took me down memory lane to when I first started playing Warhammer all those years ago. Hey, you think back to when you first started the hobby and those great times will return, I promise. For the record, no, Bretonnians don't just ride horses. They ride flying horses and unicorns as well. The tribute itself could have been better, but it's hard to find good music these days :-) Bretonnia is home to two completely different social classes: The nobility with its knights, barons, dukes, maidens and Damsels, led by a king, who live by a strict code of chivalry on one hand, and the Bretonnian Peasants, who have nearly no rights at all, are kept uneducated, live deep in the dirt and will stay exeptionally poor for their whole life on the other. It's said, that the Bretonnian townfolks are only allowed to keep the tenth part of their grain, crops and so on for themselves, while forced to give the other nine parts to their noble masters. The Bretonnian nobility has a strong belief in the idea of knightly honour, thus they have a deep dislike for all projectile weaponry - including bows - and will not use them on the battlefield for any reason. But this restriction does not apply to the poor peasants; who may do so and are often grouped together to form units of Bretonnian Bowmen or Squires, or even crew the Bretonnian Field Trebuchet, the only kind of warmachine that will be found in the Bretonnian Army. Crossbows and gunpowder weapons on the other hand are completly outlawed in Bretonnia and are not used under any circumstances.
