I am familiar with some of Webber's music such as Cats, and Phantom Of The Opera. Pie Jesu is a piece I cannot recall ever hearing. Soloist Gus Barnes introduced this wonderful piece to me, and I enjoyed accompanying him on piano.
My 10-year old student Serena T. singing Faure's "Au Bord de L'eau" at yesterday's recital. This version is based on the Leontyne Price/Samuel Barber rendition of this song - slightly faster in interpretation than most performers, but oh, so beautiful. Serena also performed "Voi Che Sapete" ...
