here it is, i know some of you have seen it - but im posting it anyway... **and yes, it is VERY short... my apologies (:** I stood there staring at the man before me... My father... the one who left me and never came back. Nick was standing there next to me, staring intently at him. Nicks arm was still around my waist holding me tightly. I didn't drop my gaze from my father. We were staring into each other's eyes. His face had a shocked-confused-what-the-hell-are-you-doing-here kind of look. The clipboard that he was still holding was pressed tightly against his chest, his knuckles were turning white from the pressure he was using to hold it. He face was turning paler and he still didn't dare to look away from me. "What the hell man?!" I heard Nick shout. I broke my gaze and looked at Nick. He looked pissed. And when I say pissed, I mean it. His face was all red and blotchy, and his eyes were darker than ever. His grip on me tightened until I was pressed up against him with no space between us what-so-ever. "Nick..." I said softly. He turned to me and his face softened for a bit. Probably because of how scared I was. Nick let go of me and soon enough, Joe and Kevin were right by Nick's side. I stepped back a few steps, looking at me father. He was standing there, still holding that damn clipboard, and was staring at me. He wasn't even paying attention to the three very angry boys in front of him. Instead, he was staring right at me. I stared back and everything the boys were shouting became inaudible. The place became silent and everything but my dad became blurry... He was so clear. Tears started falling down my cheeks. And I continued stepping back until I hit the wall. I wasn't that far away from my dad. I slid down the wall and once my butt hit the ground, I put my head in my hands. I didn't look up again until the hallway became silent. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and looked up. Kayla was sitting next to me now rubbing my back. I looked up to where my dad was standing before I had put my head down. He was gone. I looked over to my left and saw Kayla, I looked to my right and saw Nick, Kevin, and Joe standing against the wall with tired/sad looks on their faces... "He left..." I head Nick say quietly. I looked up towards Nick who was now sliding down the wall to sit next to me. "He left..." He said again. I looked at Nick and the tears started up again. I leaned into his shoulder and started to cry. And I mean cry hard... My father left me once... and now he left me twice... What kind of dad is that? Apparently, he didn't want anything to do with me... My dad had left again, and once again, I felt the pain...
