This is my first red eared slider turtle, Dino, getting some pieces of his favorite food, cucumber. He (who was in fact a she) is in an old paddling pool that he used in the summer of 2005. He's dead now, sadly.

This is my red eared slider turtle Raphael climbing into his pond and then being fascinated, as he always is, by my tapping fingers on the outside of the pond. They intrigue him for some mysterious reason known only to his little reptile mind. :-)
