A 16 year old boy took Semiautomatic Gun, Knife To School For "Protection".. My daughter's school where she was in attendance today. An Orange County, FL teen took two guns and a dual-bladed knife to his high school Today (May 15, 2008) because he said he needed "protection". Alejandro Pxxxxx, 16, was arrested on two counts of possession of a firearm on school grounds and one count of possession of a weapon on school grounds. According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, an administrator at XXXXXX High School, noticed Pxxxxx in an unauthorized area and confronted him. Pxxxxx was taken to the dean's office, where it was determined that he was carrying a dual-bladed knife, deputies said. Pxxxxx's backpack was searched and a .32-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver (loaded) and a .22-caliber Starr semiautomatic gun were found. Pxxxxx said he took the weapons to school for "protection" but didn't say where he got the guns or knife. Pxxxxx was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center. He will more than likely face three felony charges.
