Mulla Bassim Karbalaei recites an Islamic eulogy/latmaya in mourning of the tragedy of Karbala. Muslims across the world cry and beat their chests in grief and in mourning of the event in which Imam Hussain (a), the grandson of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (s.a.w.), and his family and companions were oppressed and killed. Among the martyrs were boys as young as 13 and the six month old son of Imam Hussain (a), Abdullah al-Rathee. Here Mulla Bassim recites about Abel Fothel Abbas (a), the half-brother of Imam Hussain (a) who sacrificed his life defending Islam on that day.
