Title says it all. I'm playing on my homemade stratocaster that has a Fender 98 body, a mighty mite neck with ebony fretboard and HUGE HUGE HUGE frets. The tailpiece is a gotoh and very nice...currently set up as a fixed bridge. The nut is graphite, tuners are grover rotomatics. I built the guitar to play big strings and have big bends. The guitar pulls it off pretty easily. The pickups are kinman blues and they're unbelievable. The amp is a THD Univalve. A great amp, IMO. The pedals used here are Fulltone's Full Drive 2 and ElectroHarmonic's Holy Grail Plus reverb pedal. Oh, and the speakers are Ted Weber California 12's in a custom cab. Don't know why I forgot them, I guess speakers are always over looked, though they should not be. Let me know what you think.
Doing a comparison between Lindy Fralin And Ken Kinman Blues Special Pickups. I'll refrain from voicing my opinion, but please leave a comment, what do you think. A few things to note before deciding. The guitars are substantially different. In part two (coming soon), I'll switch the bodies. ...
