Part 2 ---- (Joe's POV) I walked into the school with bags under my eyes, my hair sticking up, and a crappy atittude. "Hey baby." Lauren hugged me. "What do you want!" I yelled. "What's your problem?" She looke hurt. "I'm sorry. I just haven't been sleeping well." I hugged her. "Hey Joe." Devon said. "Morning Devon." I answered. She was always with Lauren. "Well, me and Devon gotta go. I hear Nick is watching the girls try out for cheerleading, and Lara is late for school. Plenty of time for Devon to steal him away." She smiled evily. "Lauren, leave my brother and his girlfriend alone, please?" She always had some plan. "Sorry Joe. Me and Devon stick up for each other." She said walking away hand in hand with Devon. "whatever." I said to myself. I turned around and ran into someone. "Sorry." I said and got up and looked it was Jaimee. She looked like she could use a nap and a shower. her hair was frizzy, and her make up couldn't hide the bags under her eyes. "Me too." She replyed and got up and walked away. I watched her. A guy looked at her. "Not your day, huh?" He said and laughed. "Fuck you." She yelled. I laughed. She looks so pretty. I thought. "Wait, what am I thinking?" I kept talking to myself. I went to my class. Nick happened to be there with Lara. She was yelling at him "You could have done something!" She said. "I pushed her away! I called her a slut! I told her the love of my life is Lara York! What more could I have done?" he said back. "You said that?" Lara said and blushed alittle. I sat behind them. "Yes baby." He said and smiled. "Awww!" She hugged and kissed him. The teacher came in. "Ms. York, please go to your class." He said. "Yes sir." She kissed Nick's cheek and left. "Nick, you are my hero." I said and patted him on the back. "I know, I know. I'm good." He smiled. "Joe, one more thing." He looked at me. "You look terrible." he said and turned around. ---- One Week Later ---- "Joe you look BAD." Kevin said. We were in the livingroom. "Kevin, I want to have a serious talk with you." I said. "Okay, this is weird, but go." He looked at me. "I think I like..no love..this girl. But we can't date." I looked at him. "Why can't you date?" he asked. "Because people would think it was innapropriate." I said. I think he knew who I was talking about. "Well, would you hurt this girl?" He asked. "Not on purpose." I asnwered thinking about how I could hurt her on purpose. "Would you let anyone else hurt her?" he asked. "No, I'd kick their ass." I answered thinking that there would be alot of asses to kick. "Would you force her to do anything she didn't want to do?" He asked. "No." I answered. "Well, if you hurt Jaimee I swear Joe." He said. "Thank you Kevin." I got up and hugged him. "Now go, because Bella told me she won't eat or sleep. And I think I know why." He said. I smiled and ran out the door. It was raining alittle bit, and it was getting worse. I drove to her house. Isabella was outside. "Joe, Kevin called me. I trust him. So you have one chance. If you hurt her. Joe just please." Even in the pouring rain I could tell she was crying. I hugged her. "I am scared of you." I said and smiled. She laughed. "I'm going to go get her." She walked into the house. I leaned against my car. She opened the door. She walked outside. She walked up to me. "Hi." She said. "hi." I answered. "Joe, what do you want?" She asked. "You." I said quietly. "I want you too." She said looking up at me. I picked her up so She was facing me. I kissed her. she kissed me back. I'm standing in the rain, holding a 14 yr old girl, and kissing her, knowing I truly do love her. "Jaimee?" I looked at her. "yes Joe?" She looked at me. I looked into her eyes. "I love you." I blurted out. She smiled. "I love you too." I hugged her and carried her into the house. "Hey! I just made hot chocolate." Isabella said, she smiled at me. "Wow, that's the first time you've ever smiled at me." I said and smiled. "Well, Jaimee is my little sister, and any friends or BOYfriends of hers is someone I smile at." she said. "Izzy!" Jaimee said and blushed. "You're too cute when you're embarrassed."
