Endoscopic Cyclophotocoagualtion (ECP) is a glaucoma treatment, using a laser to reduce intra-ocular pressure. Usually done with cataract surgery.
Dr. Martin Uram introduces us to the use of Endoscopic Cyclophotocoagulation, ECP, to control Glaucoma. The ciliary processes are approached through a limbal incision in a phakic eye. This case has previously had 2 failed trabeculectomies.
In this case with traumatic Glaucoma, the ciliary processes are approached in an eye with a PC-IOL through a Pars Plana incision. Endoscopic Cyclophotocoagulation (ECP) is aided by scleral depression. This eye has undergone a failed TSCPC.
