He had no fear. He could talk all he wanted because he was always, unafraid, and willing to back anything he said up. It was as natural as breathing. Today you see so many young fighters go on, and on, like a Pryor, or an Ali, and not get anywhere. They think they either earned the right to, or their agent mentions how it's a great advertising gimmick. However, when you finally see most of them in the ring you realize they have no idea what they are talking about, because they can't back any of it up. Aaron Pryor didn't trash talk because when he spoke what he said was real. He could live up to anything that came out of his mouth, and that is why, like so few before him he earned the right to say any, freaking, single, thing he pleased. Watch the intro clip. For a lot of my videos it is hard to find enough "real" highlights to actually add a full song, or piece of music. Here it was effortless. As great as these clips are, they just don't do justice to those real moments in time. Those moments as they happened and the inspiration the man who made them happen instilled in everyone who watched them live. Aaron Pryor may have not made as much money as the top stars of most eras, but there is no doubt in my mind, he made infinitely more people, dollar for person, fans of the sport. What time is it?
