Illinois Senator Barack Obama has urged more African American fathers to particulate more in the lives of their children. That is a good message for fathers who have the ability to become a more responsible parent. Some African American men do not know what it means to be a responsible parent. Many African American men did not have any positive male role models when they were growing up. Also there are African American men who would particulate in the lives of their children, but are inhibited by their child's mother or grandmother. These women need to take some responsibility for the instability of the African American family. Senator Obama became a wonderful responsible parent, maybe more African American boys need to be raised by a good White mother and grandmother. Marc Sims Chicago
