"Bloodshed In Our Streets" is the name of a song that was written by Toronto cop Jesse Weeks. It was used on one of the first YouTube appeal videos for an unsolved homicide case in Toronto - the Omar Wellington murder investigation. (videos are no longer posted on the Toronto Crime Stoppers YouTube account http://YouTube.com/1800222tips because the case was solved. Unfortunately, the victim, will never be brought back to life, and his family/friends grieves his loss. This video was recored by the Toronto Crime Stoppers Community Youth Officer Scott Mills at the Bloor Festival '08 on Bloor St W east of Bathurst St, Toronto, ON (right near Honest Ed's) The officer is standing in front of 2 sheets of 4'x8' 3/8" thickness plywood on some stands made out of 2"x4" 's . The plywood was painted at this event by legal graffiti artist Kalmplex at the event, and is an appeal for information in the murder of her two brothers Chad Wynter was murdered at 1231 Gerrard St E, Toronto, ON Canada on March 3, 2001. This murder is known to the Toronto Police Service Homicide Squad as Murder #8-2001. Karim Ata-Ayi was murdered December 23, 2007 at 14 Blevins Place, Toronto, ON Canada in an area known as Regent Park.
