Chapter 21 Taylors P.O.V. We both walked out of my dads mechanic shop and headed to the Chinese restaurant. It was only a couple blocks away. Wow! How embarrassing was he? I thought out loud to myself. Mike laughed. Well hey, your dad just wants his little girl to be safe, he teased. Very funny, I said. So, I believe I didnt catch princess name, he said as he turned towards me, as we still continued walking. hey! I said. He laughed. Im just teasing you, he said as he smiled at me. I just gave him a jokingly glare. So, will I ever find out? Or will I have to go the king for this? he questioned as he continued to tease. Well.. Ill have to think about it now, I answered. Great! he said hopelessly as he raised his arms. I laughed. Come on, I said as we were in front of the Chinese restaurant and he walked following me. Then I walked over to the counter and ordered the food since I knew what all the workers liked. While Mike went to sit at one of the tables. The lady then told me to wait 10 minutes, therefore, I went to where Mike was sitting and I sat across from him. Do I know you? he asked as I faced him. Yeah I said obviously. No, I dont, he said back. Mike.. I whined. Hey! How do you know my name? he asked acting it out.. AHH!! Are you serious? I asked. Sorry, Miss..but I dont talk to strangers, he told me seriously as he turned away. Hmm..he was a good actor. I saw that he had his arm on top of the table so I reached my hand over to it. Mike, remember me? The daughter of the guy who you work for, I said. Sorry, Ive never met her, he said. AHHH! Was he serious? All this act because he doesnt know my name? Yeah, you did!! Thats with who you came here, I said. Sorry, I dont recall that, he said. Ohh, really? I said as I took my hand away from his arm, then why are you here. Sorry, but I dont give personal information out,. he joked wit ha serious face. I couldnt help but laugh but he still got me frustrated. Mike!! I said. Sorry, and you are? he asked as he faced me. Taylor, I said. Excuse me? he asked confused. Its Taylor!!! I shouted. Ohh,, ok..nice to meet you! he said as he just grabbed my hand and shook it. At first it was weird. He was so crazy!! We both looked at each other and then we smiled for no reason, which was actually funny. He had a gorgeous smile, those sensitive but at the same time sweet smile. I loved it! Miss, your order, the lady who took my order said. I got up and walked over and paid. Then I grabbed the bag of food. I didnt need to get drinks because my dad had a vending machine at his work. Thank you, I said to the lady. Then I turned around finding Mike already standing. Let me help you, he said. Then he took the bag of food and we walked out the restaurant as he opened the door for both of us. We then headed back to my dads shop. But suddenly my phone rang and it was Ana. It wasnt an important conversation. She just asked where I was and I just said out. She asked if I wanted to join her and the others (including the Jonas Brothers) at this park place. But of course I said no. At this point I didnt want to even go near all of them. Especially not those guys who call themselves musicians (Joe and Nick). I then hung up but we were already at my dads job. Mike opened the door for me and we entered my dads office. My dad was there sitting on his desk looking all cool and stiff, pretending to be working. Hey! I said as I walked over to him and hugged him. Hey! How did it go? he asked. As if anything could have gone wrong. It was great! And I met your daughter Sam, one fine young lady, he told him. And when he said I was shocked and confused, hes been knowing me. At least since when we left this place. Oh really? my dad asked him. Yeah.. Mike answered as he nodded his head. Well..good to hear that you think of her that way, my dad said. Of course.. Mike said. My dad then called all the guys (workers) up to the office to get their food. And as they walked in they all greeted me and asked of how I was. They were really nice, but unfortunately they even bothered me with Mike. Supposedly since we were both around the same age they thought we were perfect for each other. But Im not refusing all this, he was cute! However, hard to believe my dad was also in it. Hard to believe, but guys will be guys. -comment, please! thnxs for reading! :]
