[Joe pov] I couldn't get her to stay and now shes leaving going home to Alan and here I will be waiting for her to come back and I don't even know if she will. So here we are now standing at the airport sitting down waiting for boarding time. "Promise that we will see each other again" I heard Frankie tell her, I looked of and she grabbed both of Frankie's shoulders and smiled "I promise" she whispered and Frankie grinned. I was trying to act upset which I was, I sat there my arms crossed and wearing a frown for the last ten minutes but the sight made me smile slightly. Gabby must of saw me in the corner of her eye or something because she turned and smiled at me, I bit my lip to keep from smiling back and turned the other way again. Gabby sighed and I heard her foot steps as she approached me. "Joe?" I heard her voice say and I turned to look at her she looked so sad "can you come with me, please?" I stood up and followed her around the corner out of view of everyone else. "What is it?" I said a little drier then I attended "Please don't be mad at me, I wouldn't be able to handle it if I left with us on bad terms" she begged and I sighed "I don't want you to go" I told her what she already knew "I know" she whispered and looked at her feet "Why do you have to leave the country I don't understand" I asked her and she still looked at the ground "Well I haven't seen Alan since he visited a year ago and I thought the further away I am the better off you'll be" "Gabby...Gabs" I cupped her cheek with my hand and moved in closer "you know this is only killing me not making anything better" "You will be in time" she said and I sighed "You don't get it" I leaned in closer our noses were nearly touching "it physically hurts when your not near me" she looked me right in the eyes just to see I wasn't joking "Joe..." she began and I leaned in so our lips were just touching but so lightly "Shhh" I silenced her then kissed her gently "pretend for me just pretend that I'm your everything just for a few minutes so I have the memory, just pretend you feel that way too" I kissed her again but harder and she kissed back. I pulled back but only to go in for more which it seemed like she wanted too. Gabby slid her hands up my stomach to my waist then pushed me into the wall our lips never leaving each other. At the end of it we were both panting, Gabby ran her fingers through her hair then looked at me and laughed. "That was nice" she simply stated and I smiled at her then pulled into a big hug "Please don't leave" I whispered in her ear and I felt her shiver. "Joe..." she started but I cut in "Gabby...." I copied her and she laughed "How about I just say I'll come back" she murmured "Promise?" he repeated the question Frankie had asked before "I promise, but..." "Ah theres always a but" I rolled my eyes "I don't know how long I will be so.... it's fine if you know?" she shrugged and looked around somehow embarrassed but what she was going to say. "No I don't" "If you want to date other people and get a girlfriend" she said in a rush and my eyes widened "I don't want to date someone else" I said and she rolled her eyes "even if I wanted to like I would have time" she just nodded and we pulled away. Just then Kevin came behind the corner "Guys the planes bording" he told us then left "Shit" I mumbled then turned to Gabby once more and kissed her putting everything I had into it. When we pulled away this time Gabby was dumbfounded "Whoa" she panted and I smirked "Good kisser aye'" she just rolled her eyes and walked around the corner. When she was out of view I realised that this was the last time I'd see her in probably a long time and it all hit me. The smirk left my face and was replaced with a frown as I also walked around the corner. Absence makes the heart grow fonder William shakespeare had once said.
