We have no clue what happened. We went outside to put Riley away and when we reached under her chest, our hands were full of blood. It was a horrible wound and it was already 8:00 at night and we had no clue who would come out this late to care for her, she was woozy and she had pale gums, she was in so much pain.We called over 10 places in our area but no one made barn calls, and we though it was unsafe to take her in a trailer. Finally, we reached someone and she took care of it all... it took thousands of stitches and hundreds of staples. She is on the road to recovery, but she will be fine.
