The unpacking, setup and playing of a new Splawn amplifier. This is the 50 watt Splawn Competition. The playing part (2:20 onwards) is all from my first 20 minutes or so with the amp after setting it up. At this point I didn't know how the gears worked, or more importantly where the master volume likes to be to hit the sweet spot (2-3). The idea is that I'll update at some point with newer videos now that I've had the Splawn a few weeks and have got it singing away with the most beautiful tone. I apologize for all the harmonic minor. It's all momma taught me.
Quickrod verse 3 channel dual rec. QR almost turned off. Mesa on 10'o clock. For bedroom levels the Dual rec is the clear winner. Put the QR on 9 'o clock or above and it completely destroys any setting on the Mesa, but not ideal for low volume playing.
