**Story here** *Annabell's POV**A week later* It's been a week and Melody, Joe, Kevin, and Deborah STILL aren't talking. To tell you the truth its quite awkward for me and Nick but we are still going strong, "Where's our next stop?" I asked Deborah in between bites of my cerel. We were Greek on ABCFamily. Melody gave Deborah a worried look and Daborah gulped. "Peoria, Illinois." I felt the feeling of that depression over come me like it once did 3 months ago when I didnt talk. I looked at the calender and gulped. "When will we get there?" They sighed, "Three Hours." I could feel the tears riming at my eyes. I looked down. I tried breathing but I couldn't. Tomorrow was the day..tomorrow was the anniversery of two things. (Ok i know in like my first chapters i had this happen at the end of the school year but im changing it just a bit.) One, when I first met Nick and two when our parents died. And well they brought her to Peoria to bury her because Peoria was our home town but then we moved down to Florida for various reasons. "Its tomorrow you know." They both looked down, "Yeah we know." I gulped, "Atleast we'll get to see my grandma." They smiled slightly, "Yeah." I sighed, "We can get through.....we'll be fine. HEY! Tomorrow is when my grandma goes to Spoon River Drive!!!"(Ok so spoon river drive is like this shopping fair where tents are set up with various items in about 3 different locations around peoria.) They smiled, "We should go!" I nodded, "And the guys can come tooo!!!" They looked away, "Please?" I asked nicely. THey sighed, "Fine." I perked up. Only 3 more hours. *the next day*(7:30am) We were headed to my Grandma's house. She would be excited to see me again. We pulled down her street in the three rental cars we got. Me and Nick to one. Melody and Deborah to one and Kevin and Joe to one. We pulled up to her brick house. There was another car there and I gulped as I looked at the lincense plat that said Florida on it. Along with the lincense plate, 'Ill luv hr 4eva' No he cant be here. We got out and I grabbed Nicks hand. I walked up to her door and tried opening it, it opened. We walked in and that same smell filled my nose, it made me feel at home. We ventured up the stairs me still holding onto Nicks hand. When we stepped into kitchen my grandma looked up from her paper she was reading and screamed, "Oh MY ANNA!!!" She threw her paper down and rain in and gave me the biggest hug ever. "DEBORAH, MELODY why are you guys here?" I laughed and told her everything about going on tour. Eh, I may have confused you on how she knows Deb and Mel, you see we used to travel up here all the time for Spoon River Drive with my Ex-Boyfriend Jake(if you dont remember him go to the first few chapters) and my mom. We stopped doing it cause it wasn't the same but I guess one person still does it...."So your dream came true." She looked at me holding Nicks hand. I smiled and blushed, "Yeah..." Nick looked at me confused, I smiled, "I had this dream to meet you and date you." He smiled and blushed. "Helen whos here?" I was right he was here. "Oh its Annabell!!!" I heard him jump up, "WHERE'S MY ANNA BANANA!?" As if on que and in slow motion he walked around the corner, Jake..the man who broke my heart..I felt my heart skip a beat. He walked over and gave me a hug. I continued to hold Nicks hand. He pulled away and just stared at me for a second, "Um Anna can I talk to you for a second?" I looked at Nick and he nodded. I thought for a moment, "Sure." He pulled me out to her porch. "So how've you been?" I smirked, "Oh, awesome!" He nodded, "Good good. So hows Cal-" I cut him off, "He's dead." I saw sadness come to his eyes, "Oh Anna Im soo sorry. The least you needed after you mom died was Cal dieing." I felt that same sharp pain in my heart, "You had to say that." I said holding back tears. "Oh Anna I'm sor-ugh me and my mouth." I chuckled. "Now tell me why you brought me out here." He gulped, "Well, is um that guy in there your boyfriend?" I nodded and he sighed, "Well, thats good." I sighed, "Jake, come on tell the truth, you dont like him." He sighed, "Well maybe thats because he is with the woman I love." I gulped, "Lo-love?" He nodded. I shook my head, "No Jake I love Nick not you." I started to walk past him but he grabbed me. The feeling of his hands on me brought back all the painful memories. "WHAT!?" I screamed in his face. He let go, "Listen I wanted to apollogize for ever hurting you." I laughed unbelievably, "YOU think that a sorry with cover for THIS!?" I screamed while lifting my shirt enough to wher you could see the scar on my back. He looked away. "Yeah that what I thought!" I walked back into the house. Those scars were from him. He used to beat me if I didnt do what he wanted. Those were from the night I said no to having sex with him. I remembered the first day I met him, he was soo nice. That was the Jake I wanted back for the years I went out with him but I love Nick now....right?
