One of the songs that we played (40 billion times) at the 4th of July Parade.
This is only the first seven measures. You can actually hear the woodwinds crazy runs! I love the two measures of the drumline in the beginning. :D
The pretty part of the Olympic Medley :D This is measures 11 through 54. Yay for us sounding sort of in tune! That's because none of the trumpets are screaming yet. Plus, I was still able to feel my lips.
The extremely watered down and marching bandified version. This was wayyy more fun to play during rehearsal when everybody was dancing though. Props to the sousaphone player and the flautists who got up and danced.
Ugh. I hate this song. We only played it twice altogether, I think. UGHHHH. It sounds so bad. I refuse to memorize it.
We played this part at the Parade too. Here were my thoughts during this song: "omgimgunnadiemylipsahhhlastsongyayyyconductfaster,dr.gilroypleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease" Measures 154 to 1888. Haha, I meant 188. Almost 2000 measures, that's hardcore.
