Whilst I'm in a folkie frame of mind I'll give you an old Irish end-of-a-session favourite. I used to do this quite a bit at the end of a nights singing and drinking with friends - usually accompanied on guitar or sometimes totally unaccompanied but with all present joining in on the "Goodnight and Joy Be With You All"s. Feel free to join in with them yourself. Anyway, because I am used to doing it on guitar, I decided on the Baritone uke for this one as I don't have the re-entrant on mine so it sounds and feels more guitar-like. This version is not as raucous as an end of night session.
I learned this tune (called Swaggering Bonney) on the violin many years ago and had a go at playing it on the baritone uke. For any ukers out there who are wondering what the make of the Baritone is, it is a Gibson UB1.
